We had a great time!! Special Thanks to Sandy for having the meetup table with much needed water and cookies AND of course for helping with Chile's successful race by putting her in the starting box! See you at the semi-finals tonight!!

Who attended?

  • 50 attendees
    •  It started at 9am, i got there at 10 and the races were all over and there were about 10 people there. I figured the nationals would last longer then an hour? Please post more specifics next time so that we dont miss the fun. I couldnt find any where, where it said the length or ending time of the races.
    •  We had a blast...doxie people are the greatest! Taquito spent the first race trying to jump our of the box the back way...the second race he finally saw his dad at the end and ran to him! That in itself is a great accomplishment, and we are proud of our little guy!
    •  It was very nice and I thank Sandy for her all work. It is fun and would like to do that next year.
    •  Loved the experience. Loved all the dogs and the owners. My dog and I had a great time!
    •  It was fun but HOT! Would have liked a bit more vendors! The dogs had fun and are fast asleep!
    •  This was our first one and we had a blast. It was so cool to see all the different types and colors of doxies. The people was so friendly and the races were so much fun. Very happy our little dude finished on the second round. Good luck to those who advanced to Petco.
    •  This event was so much fun, and it was really organized. Everyone mingled and had a great time. Our little Emjay didn't win, but she finished both her races. For some of us, that was a great accomplishment. Can't wait until next year.
    •  A fun time for dog and people.
    •  Lots of fun, as usual!
    •  Too Hot...would be nice to hold at different time of the year when it isn;t so hot...
    •  TOO HOT!!!!!!
    •  It was very hot. Other than that it was well organized and fast moving
    •  It was hot but the pacific light holiday bowl people did a Greta job. I like the new format. It was great to see all our Dixie friends
    •  The event was fun for us and our dog even though she stalled at the gate both times. I guess we have to practice more for next year! Great to see all the other dogs, so varied its amazing. Our Sandy was overwhelmed I think, but hey, there has to be a first time, right? We look forward to her next outing.
    •  Not one of the better Wiener Nationals, way to hot and seemed not as many people and dogs attended.
    •  Congratulations to everyone who participated and especially to those of you who made it to the finals at Petco. See you there!
    •  Awesome event. I could have been better prepared but it was our first time. I've got some great ideas for what to do next year.
    •  Too sunny for our baby so we weren't able to race the dog... but it's on next year :)
    •  I'm was pretty bumbed our Rocky was only interested in exploring and not racing.
    •  Awesome !!!!! First year for "Ryder" to run.... he actually came out of the gate and ran to me.... He really did a MOMMIE proud..... so many great people and wonderful Doxies......So much fun.... Can't wait for next year..... we didn't even practice this year, just wanted the experience and fun... We certainly got that... Just wish it weren't so hot, for the puppies and the people..... Very hot today !!!!!
    •  Went really well. I think the event was well organized. It would be great if it could be done under a big tent because it was so hot!!
    •  HOT! But other than that, it was my first time. Pretty fun to see so many doxies at once. The races were cool because it was low pressure for the dogs and owners. It was cool ...these dogs are not pros...that is what made it fun to watch. Maybe next year we'll enter.
    •  This was our first time to attend we took both wiener dogs and our bigger girl who thinks she a wiener dog. We loved watching the races and couldn't believe how many wiener dogs we saw - loved it!! Thanks!
