If you are looking for something fun to do that is also for a great cause, head on down to the La Jolla Brewhouse, Tuesday June 30th for a fun and festive Pre- 4th of July dog friendly Celebration! Have dinner and drinks with your human and canine friends - La Jolla Brewhouse is a dog friendly establishment, there is even a menu just for your furry friend. Great drink and food specials and for a great cause! 10% of all bar proceeds will be donated to Humane Society de Tijuana and there will be a raffle for some cool prizes such as Whole Foods Giveaways, a Wyndham Hawaiian Vacation, Zoo and Theatre tickets and more!. Plus giveaways from Muttropolis and Honest Kitchen!
Please mark your calendars and come on down to the La Jolla Brewhouse Tuesday, September 30th from 5-8pm!
HSTJ is also accepting donations of towels, blankets, pet food and any other pet supplies you no longer have the need for.

NO HOST PLAY DATE - organizers will be out of town for the summer - but please come to meet and play with others in our meetup group. Some of our doxies run and play chase - others watch it all from the comfort of a lap.
Don't let this high-use park deter you from participating - the shaded dog run is one of the best!

The San Diego Dachshund Club sponsors its annual Vernal EquiDox in celebration of spring.
http://sddc.us/id8.h tml The fountain near the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park is the place to meet and greet dachshunds and their owners. There is no program. You may like to picnic or stroll the park with your dachshunds, showing off their spring attire: sunglasses, visors, bunny ears, deely-bobbers, etc. 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. No RSVP required.
