We all love our weiners, so come out and let them run off some of that energy! Alternately, let them sit in your lap and laugh while the other dogs run. Either way, come out and join us for a little dachshund fun! We meet at the Millbrook Exchange Park on the first Saturday of each month, so if you can't make it this month, come out next month.

Note the later time so we can escape the heat.

    We brought Pepper and Cricket to the meeting at 5:00. There were 5 dachshunds there. I guess we assumed the time had been moved because of the heat. It was still pretty warm for 5:00. Everyone was friendly and it was really kind of quiet...even the dogs appreciated the calmness....

    Hey everyone. I'm so sorry about the confusion over the time. I thought I had changed the June and July meetings to 5:00, but I must have accidentally changed this one, too. Mea culpa. I'll double check the time on the next meetings to ensure this doesn't happen again.

    I originally thought it was at 3 and I could have gone, but at 5pm we are having a belated birthday celebration for our daughter. I am not sure that I can make the next one, either. I really would like to find out if any of you dachsie owners in the area do pet sitting in your home.......Our mini is fairly new to our household, and I just don't know if I can send her to a boarding facility b/c she's so little and gets intimidated by a lot of dogs.......Please get in touch with me if you can!

    • “ This was my 2nd meetup. I was very disappointed in the turnout. Maybe it was the fact that yesterday (Friday) when I RSVP'd, the time was 5pm, but today, when the reminder went out via email for the meetup, the meetup time was 3pm (like normal). I arrived at 3 and stayed til about 4:30, and besides me and 2 friends that came along, only 3 other people showed up. Hopefully there will be a better turn out next time, and no confusion with the times. ”
