The weather should be perfect; sunny, 80's, and no forecast (yet) of rain!! Bring your dogs and celebrate on of the few dry days we've had this summer.

We all love our weiners, so come out and let them run off some of that energy! Alternately, let them sit in your lap and laugh while the other dogs run. Either way, come out and join us for a little dachshund fun! We meet at the Millbrook Exchange Park on the first Saturday of each month, so if you can't make it this month, come out next month.

Anyone have info on Weiner Dog Days? We have never attended but would very much like to.

Who attended?

    •  I enjoyed meeting all the humans and dogs. As a new Dachshund owner, it was great to talk with veteran Dachshund owners for tips and advice.
    •  There were a lot of new families at today's event. It was a great day, perfect weather and lots of puppies running around.
    •  I know there were more dogs than people and it was just great! My second time with Buddy and he got tired before I did. It was so good to see so many doxies in one place. The funniest part was the doxies chasing after a spaniel; it was like they knew he didn't belong! Fun, fun fun.
    •  Good number of doxies there (15 - 20). Some were very young (I've been told maybe too young). All had a good time
    •  Always swell meeting everybody and petting the doxies!!
