Carrboro Weiner Dog Day is just around the corner! This year I'm hoping our meetup group will help with the organizing. It is a really fun way to spend your afternoon and the pups love it! We'll have an obstacle course, costume contest, and hopefully many other fun activities for doxies and humans alike! Please email me if you'd like to be part of the planning process for this!

Meetup is at 5pm on Saturday. We'll be meeting in the small dog park. They have water and bowls at the park, but you might want to bring some bottled water for yourselves.

Meetup is at 4pm on Saturday. Please remember that our new meeting location is NOT in the small dog park but in the adjacent fenced in area specifically designed for groups such as ours!

Bring some water for the kids - weather is expected to be partly cloudy and 90 degrees!!!!

The once a year event is here! I know we have a scheduled meetup for the same day and since people have RSVPed I don't want to cancel it but we will be in Greensboro at the big picnic! There is food and fun for doxies and their humans. The North Carolina Picnic usually has 200 doxies or more in attendance and people come from all over the country to attend! There will be weiner dog races, bobbing for weiners, costume contest and lots of vendors selling Dachshund paraphenalia! Should be a great time and I hope to see you all there.
