Sorry folks, I've been very busy. Would love it if someone would volunteer to be an assistant organizer. In any case, there is a Raleigh Dachshund Meetup scheduled for this Saturday. Sorry for the short notice! Should be fun, scheduled to meet at the Raleigh Dog Park.

The Raleigh Dachshund meetup is back by popular demand! Sorry it has been so long, I've been too busy to schedule and attend. If someone who has been to several meetups would like to help me coordinate that would be fantastic! Looking forward to seeing everyone for a fun afternoon filled with doxies having a good time!

Meetup is at 4pm on Saturday. Please remember that our new meeting location is NOT in the small dog park but in the adjacent fenced in area specifically designed for groups such as ours! Looking forward to seeing everyone there. The weather is not supposed to be great - if it is raining or very cold please use your best judgement. I will let everyone know if the event is cancelled but won't cancel the event until I know the weather is bad and some people may not get the notice! My doxies don't like playing in the rain, mud or cold so let's hope for good weather and see you all there!

Rain, rain go away! The regular Durham Dachshund meetup has been rescheduled for Jan 28, 2006 from its original date of Jan 21st, 2006. Hopefully we will have better weather this coming Saturday and sorry we had to cancel but the doxies don't like to play in the mud and rain - at least mine don't! Libby

Sorry all, I messed up about the time. We have been meeting at 4pm b/c of the cold weather and the sun setting earlier but I didn't notice that it somehow hadn't been changed until this morning which I fear is too late to change it to 4pm, so I'm compromising with 4:30pm. That way if anyone comes at 4, we'll be there soon after and anyone at 5 who doesn't get this message will also be there in time to have fun! Sorry about this mixup, won't happen next time! Libby

The Raleigh Dachshund Meetup at the Millbrook Exchange Park! We missed last month since we had Carrboro Weiner Dog Day and the Mid Atlantic Doxie Picnic up in Manassas, VA. Hope to see you all at this event!
