Introduction

I'm Susan, am owned by a mini named Noodle, who turns 4 In Nov. '06. :) We also have a new baby, Teyah Pie joined the family on 7/23 and was 12 weeks old the same day. Had doxies as far back as I can remember, and they are totally my fav breed.

What are you hoping to get out of the doxie meetup group?

I would like to meet other doxie owners and doxie friends for Noodle to socialize with. He doesn't know he is a small dog, but I prefer for him not to play with the big dogs as they are a bit rough and love to toss and roll him on his back.

How many doxies do you have and what are their names, age, coat, sex, hairtype?

1 smooth B/T mini, Noodle, 3 years. Thinks he's people, sleeps in the big bed and here's a strange one - loves red and yellow bell peppers! Now we also have Teyah, smooth mini B/T piebald puppy who is just getting to know us and show us who she is.

Does your Dachshund have any bad habits?

Gulps his food, he's a rescue, I think wasn't taught that he could have his own bowl. Also has some sep. anx. that has caused him to shred carpet desperately trying to get to me. LOVES barking, (typ. doxie) Teyah is still revealing her personality.

What do you love most about your Dachshund?

Noo adores people/kids/99% other dogs/is a true lapdog/snuggler. Fills my life with humor, love and his huge personality. My folks call him the 'furry' grandkid. Teyah is a puppy - what's not to love? She's going 2 B a barker tho I can tell. :)
