NEW LOCATION FOR MAY!!! PLEASE bring shade and lots of water it's a hot day! Hi Group, I would like a member to step up to organize the May meetup. The Weenies and I need some help! I will likely not be able to attend this meetup so I am asking one of the members to organize this one!!!. We will try something NEW!!! So bring a comfy chair and maybe some shade as we try the new location--Fido Field of Folsom. This is the newest dog park in the Sacrmento area so let's try it out. The small and medium dog areas at Phoenix Dog Park will be closed (only the large area opened) so this is a great time to break out of the mold and try something NEW!! Have fun all!!

    Entered Rocco and Buster in the UCD Doxie Derby - they are "weiners" - each won their individual heat, and Rocco won his group. They won prizes - treats and their favorite Eukanuba for Dachshund's large bag of food. And, their owner won a purina bag and jacket!! They will be signing autographs tomorrow. See you in Folsom.     A great time was had by all at the April meet-up...in spite of the heat!! We're so sorry that we can't make it on May 10th, as not only Mother's Day, but my husband's birthday & we have plans with the kids & grandkids. Looking forward to June!!! Nancy Grundel

    Love Sacramento Dachshun Meetup. Just adopted Frankie this month, April 7, 2009 and Frankie is a love and Max is our Alpha Dog for each of us are gra teful for Sacramento Dachshund Meetup. Thanks again, Sharon Noda, Realfor for Life since 1980 (28 years in the biz).
