Phoenix WILL BE OPEN on Sunday however the area where the bigger dogs normally are playing will continue to be closed. We will meet in the small area as we generally do. The Shiba Inu meetup will be there as well so it may be a tad crowded. There will be the pitter patter of many paws!!! It's Springtime with the Wieners!! I hope the day will be as beautiful as the March meetup!! The dogs (and humans)sure had fun. We are meeting at 2:00 in the smallest dog area of the three at Phoenix Park. It's the Holiday season and Santa will be showing up at the December meetup for a photo op with his favorite breed....weinees!! To help celebrate the season we will also have a $5.00 doggie themed gift exchange as well. Please bring a wrapped gift to exchange with other Dachshund enthusiasts! October is Halloweenie month so let's allow our dogs to get into the groove and dress them in Halloweenie costumes. Our members will vote for their favorites. Last year Heidi was the big winner as the Octoberfest Babe (see meetup photo!). Who will earn the coveted title this year? We shall see! There will be prizes for !st, 2nd and 3rd place weenees.
