Hi, on Halloween afternoon we found a tiny red female doxie with a collar and NO TAGS...how can people do that? She is also NOT CHIPPED, amazing to me.

She was found on Sandylee Way which is between Florin and Gerber off Stockton and Power Inn Rd.

She is very tiny, around 4-5 lbs, well mannered, house broken and obviously spoiled. Her eyes are unique and uncharacteristic; part blue. She gets along well with other dogs, we have 2 LARGE dogs and 3 house cats (which unfortunately she loves to chase), not good. She is an absolute sweetie!

We must find her owner or give her up to the SPCA soon. If you can help by caring for her I have run an ad in The Bee under Found and would continue to do so for 30 days, if someone can take her and care for her during this time.

Please help me if you can. Call 393-7875 day or night....this little one should not go to the SPCA.

OMG There have been at least ten emails from the caring members of this amazing meetup group with people willing to take this sweet dachshund on either a short term basis or adopt! Many people are interested in her however I also received this email (which I have sent to the group list)

Hello All,

Just had the pleasure of speaking with Penny on the phone. She was unable to keep the little Doxie in her home and has taken it to Bradshaw SPCA. The dog will go up for adoption on Sat. The dog is not spayed. She reported that the dog is friendly.


At least TWO rescue groups wanted the dog including our sponser the foxy doxy rescue. PLEASE go and get the baby for the forever homes!!!!
