    6pm is too later and Mockingbird is too far so I think I'm gonna go to the Plano one. I will be there early afternoon if anyone wants to go.

    Ya gotta tell us where it is. It's tomorrow. I've replied YES, but if it's downtown or in Ft. Worth, no. The weather's about to be wonderful and I'm ready. Where is it?

    • “ I did'nt see that many dachshunds and their owners but enjoyed talking and meeting other dog lovers. The weather was outstanding! ”
    • “ Not advised of location until the previous aft. Id responded yes, but that was contingent on having it at White Rock and no other park. Finally askd that the loc be given ??? so I could plan to attend. Changed from 6 to 3 PM at the last min, in order to accom a member. It would not have been fine had I worked, but as it was, it was OK. I don't think that the organizer was there today. We were scattered. Nice day, but what I had in mind was meeting other members for discussion and fun. As it was, there were lots of dachs spread around, but w/out org, we didn't know who to go out of our way to meet. I'd pictured a little group of us talking and having fun, but no. Nice little covey of dachsies, but no. The way it was, anyone could have shown up at any time and not found another member; it didn't make a difference when anyone could arrive. I met a member, but only due to our own initiative. I wouldn't do it again this way. Nope. ”
