We are a group of Dachshund Lovers in Northern California and well.. WE LOVE DACHSHUNDS.

Our group was formed with the intention to provide our doxies playtime with other doxies, to meet other dachshund lovers, as we all have at least one thing in common, AND to support our local community; SPCA and Dachshund rescue programs.

We accomplish this by organizing bi-monthly Meetups encouraging members to come together and share quality time with some of the most beautiful Dachshunds in Northern California, we think in the world, and their wonderful owners. Our main monthly Meetup is normally the first weekend of the month and our mid-week the third week of the month; alternating Wednesdays & Thursdays. Our schedule is always posted at least one month in advance.

• Less structure and more socialization

• Dozens of GORGEOUS Dachsunds of every shape, size and color
  
• Group organizers, Rob & Wendy; open to suggestions and feedback
  
• Picture taking to share our event on our group Meetup site
  

We encourage our group members to participate in a way that is most comfortable to them and to respect those who are participating at any level. When we have events centered around assisting the Placer SPCA & local Dachshund rescues, members should not feel obligated to participate and please do not be discouraged from attending; again particpate at the level you wish.

This group belongs to all group members, not the organizers, and members are welcomed and encouraged to co-lead events, bring information to share with our group and to suggest event themes and arrange guest speakers.
