Introduction
The greatness of a day increases in proportion to the number of dachshunds I meet.
Please tell us your doxie's Bday if you have a rescue doxie like we do then pick a month/date thanks
Pretzel: 3/20/1991 (adopted 7/25/1992; went to the Rainbow Bridge on 7/28/09) Mickey and Charlie: 12/24/2000 (Mickey went to the Rainbow Bridge on 4/17/09.) Guinness was born 2/4/2003 (my first black and tan). Riley was born about 7/14/2003.

"I have three dachshunds: Charlie, Guinness and Riley, all rescued doxies. Charlie came from the Oakland Animal Shelter with his brother or father, Mickey, on 12/24/06. By 9/07, I couldn't adopt them out as a set, so I adopted them. Mickey got pneumonitis and went to the Rainbow Bridge on 4/17/09. Pretzel, the love of my life for over 17 years, went to the Rainbow Bridge on 7/28/09, at age 18-1/3 years."
