Introduction

I am originally from Baltimore and live about 30 minutes from away. I have had two dachshunds. Sadly, my dachshund Cody was in declining health and had to be euthanized recently. I would love spend time with other dachshund lovers.

What do you and your dog enjoy doing together the most?

I used to take Cody to a local Farmer's Market and to antique shops. We both loved it and he soaked up all of the attention!

What is the name and age of your dog?

Cody. He was 15.

When and where did you and your dog(s) meet?

My ex-husband and I met were introduced to a breeder At a dog show. She happened to have puppy Cody with her.

How do you feel about Dashchunds??

I love dachshunds and miss Cody sooo... much. The little weiners are such a mix of being funny, sneaky, loving, and brave! I know I will have another one in my life soon.

What Sharon is saying about this Meetup Group

I am definitely looking forward to future gatherings. This is a fun and nice way to meet and socialize with dachshunds and other people who love dachshunds. For me, the group also serves as a support network because I gave up my little guy in a divorce. I know one day I will have another weinerdog. Now is not the right time. I miss him a lot and still feel devoted to Cody.
